At 6-foot and 230 pounds, Redman has been a training camp marvel with the way he has vultured in for goal line scores in team drills and his play against the Lions, to open the preseason, had to turn a few heads. The football spread on Reman making the team is better now then last year and if he keeps turning heads he will be a shoe-in.

Steelers Notebook: Add Mendenhall’s name to growing injury list
August 4th, 2010
steelerguy26 By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Another day, another top rookie lost to a hamstring injury, and starting running back Rashard Mendenhall joined the growing list of injured as well.
Linebacker Jason Worilds, a second-round draft pick, joined first-round pick Maurkice Pouncey on the sideline with a hamstring injury. Worilds was injured Monday afternoon in practice.
Those remaining sidelined [...]
Breaking News: Steelers give Mike Tomlin his due.
July 13th, 2010
steelerguy26 So it looks like the Tomlin haters can get out their protest signs and start the march toward him being fired all over again. Personally I am very happy they Steelers signed coach Tomlin, he has done a great job and I can remember the days when most fans hated Bill Cowher too. It’s a Pittsburgh fan thing, hate it while you got it and miss it when it is gone. Either way the signing was a huge positive during a very negative off-season for the team. Up next the team needs to find a way to funnel some money LaMarr Woodley’s way.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Top 10 Camp Concerns
July 5th, 2010
steelerguy26 The Steelers took a huge risk this offseason by not investing in an offensive coordinator with a proven track record. Instead, they will continue with Bruce Arians, who has a track record for, well, strange play-calling.

Mike Tomlin: ‘I don’t mind the circus atmosphere’
June 3rd, 2010
steelerguy26 “I don’t mind the circus atmosphere because I can’t control it,” Tomlin said. “Ultimately we’ll be measured by our ability to win football games,” Tomlin said. “This is a distraction if we lose; if we don’t, it’s not. And I’m committed to making sure it’s not, and I’m sure everyone else is.”
Steelers Armchair GM – Lost Potential and Steelers Football
May 17th, 2010
steelerguy26 All that being said about replacing Ben, after watching NFL Network’s “America’s Game.”, of the 2005 Super Bowl season I have this. The Ben Roethlisberger that is on that film, that is a constant and good teammate, that commits himself to those around him and puts the needs of his teammates, especially Jerome Bettis, to whom he delivers four game balls, the final at the Super Bowl, above his own, if we get that Ben back, it would be most welcome.
So you want to coach the Pittsburgh Steelers? Welcome to hell Mike Tomlin!
December 7th, 2009
steelerguy26 Crazy title I know but the meaning reigns true. I have been reading other blogs and Steelers news across the net today and the one theme I am finding after the Pittsburgh Steelers colossal collapes the last four weeks is that Mike Tomlin should be fired, that the team that has been one of the best the last 20 years should just panic and go against what makes them so great. Yup the view of a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Injuries catch up to Steelers in loss to the Ravens
November 30th, 2009
steelerguy26 I also see potential in Dennis Dixon, maybe not as a Steeler but he will start for someone down the road. If he can continue to grow he will make some nice trade bait near the end of his contract. Why not franny tag Willie Parkers and trade him as well? I don’t care if you only get a 4th rounder out of him. It is better then getting nothing.
Dennis Dixon could start when Steelers face the Ravens
November 28th, 2009
steelerguy26 In the end, win or lose though we must not blamn Dixon. He is a young QB who will get his feet wet versus one of the best defense’s in the league. The fact he is a very talented young QB ready to show everyone in the NFL what he can do will also be helpful. Dennis Dixon will need some help though and if the rest of the team plays well and the plays that Bruce Arians calls are in his favor, I fully expect him to play well.
