Yeah Reilly looks to be a possible starter in the waiting, possibly another Tom Brady type. Not saying he will be as good but I mean a QB out of nowhere who becomes a star.

The problem is he is on the Steelers and we have the best young QB in the league in Big Ben. So he will need to not make Pittsburgh and catch on some where else to get that chance.

I'm from CWU (2005 Grad) and have seen Mike in person at least 10 times. He is legit and could have a great career for a D2 player if given the chance to develop in the NFL. He moves great in the pocket and threw with amazing accuracy through our winds in Ellensburg.

As a 'Hawks fan I hate the Steelers on principle, but if Reilly makes your squad I might be rooting for the Steelers at some point.

Go CWU!

It's all good bro. I am just a fan of smash mouth football. The stats don't lie, great defense and run games win Super Bowls. The passing games need to be of top quality but they are not the main ingrediant of Championships.

I did like Chan though he had a nice mix or pass and run. Don't get me wrong I want to see Ben throw for 300 yards and 5 TD's every week. But I also want our run game to get 200 yards and close out games....lol.

Thanks for getting involved bro. This is a new Blog and we need new members like you with a passion for the Steelers who speak what they feel to help us get noticed.

Keep the comments coming they are always welcome.

What? I went too far with Mike Martz? I never know. What about Chan Gailey? Bring Back the Slash! But not with Kordell of course.

I have to say I was with you till you mentioned Mike Martz.... I want an OC that knows what a FB is and so does the running backs on our team. We need a better run game to take pressure off the pass game.

I agree. Dennis Dixon could be the Steelers Pat White. Now that's he's got his rookie season behind let's get him in at Wildcat and Wide Receiver, sometimes under Center with Ben as Fullback (just kidding, ...I think) and see if we can screw with some Defensive Coordinator's heads.

Part of problem last year was that offensive play calling was so vanilla, they always knew where Ben was going to be. I remember them taking Ben off the field in the mummy rap on the cart. If that happens again I say fire our OC and hire Mike Martz. Yeah, I said it. Mike Effing Martz.

The problem is Bruce Arians. Bruce Arians is no Ken Whisenhunt who I suspect we will see again in a Super Bowl. He may as well call his team the West-Side Steelers (No offense to you West Siders). He steals every available ex-Stiller. I suspect soon he will switch their uniform from Red and White with a little bit of Black to Black and Red with a little bit of White.

Mike Reilly looks intriguing as a developmental player. If Jaws says he's an NFL quarterback let's give him some time to stick.

I'm flying in for the first exhibition game to see how our new guys and low-playtime guys do. I think it will be very exciting. The Steelers have quietly added a lot of talent this year as they always do.

Go Stillers!

I am with you on Dixon bro I think he has a ton of ability and could be the next Slash for us. Even better then Kordell was at the role.

As for Ben staying healthy thats another story. One only our offensive line can write. Lets just hope it's a best seller.

Quality at the QB position is priceless. Hopefully this season will prove to be injury free for Big Ben. The play of the OLine will be instrumental in the quest for 7, and this is 1 season I cannot wait to see get going. Dennis Dixon is a weapon that has improved considerably and I would like to see his progress rewarded by getting some time on the field.
